HARNESS INSTRUCTIONS
What this kit contains:
Everything you need to begin using the ProSwim Harness, except the pool!
Adjustable shoulder Straps.
Adjustable Waist Buckle
Adjustable Shore Lines with Fastening Clips on both ends
"D" Rings
ATTACHING THE SHORE LINES
Fasten Shore Lines to a stable structure fence alongside pool. If you have dirt and grass you can use tent pegs or those corkscrew type pegs used to leash a dog outside.
Use two measured shore points approximately I ft. from side of each foot outward. Shore points or anchor points should be approximately 4 ft. apart from each other.
Make sure the Shore Lines are fastened above the waterline. Tension on the Shore Lines will create a straight line.
If you fasten the shore Lines below the waterline, it will be difficult to keep your head above water.
Shore lines should not be fastened to harness until you are in the pool.
DO NOT JUMP INTO THE POOL WHILE FASTENED
TO SHORE LINES
THIS IS NOT A TOY OR A FLOATATION DEVICE
PUTTING THE HARNESS ON
Sit down and slip legs through the Elastic Leg Loops.
Make sure the Waist Belt is straight, fasten buckle.
Stand up and adjust Waist Belt to waistline above hips - fit should be snug around waist Slip arms through Shoulder Straps like you would put on suspenders.
Make sure Shoulder Straps are straight, then adjust for a snug fit.
USING THE HARNESS
Wear the Harness into the swimming pool.
Fasten the Shore Lines that you have waiting by the pool side onto the "0" Rings on each side of the Waist Belt.
Swim forward in an easy stroke to take the slack out of the Shore Lines.
Once you feel the tension on the Lines, make sure your feet can clear the side of the pool before you start kicking.
Make adjustments to Waist Belt and Shoulder Straps for personal comfort.
Adjust belt pressure evenly among both sides of shoulders and hips.
You may want to adjust the pressure after a few minutes of swimming once you become accustomed to movement.
A durable fitness/rehabilitative device worn by pets or humans for stationary swimming in swimming pool
"...my father told me about the ProSwim Swimming Harness and it was the perfect therapy for my shoulder. It also solved our pool budget problem."
Tom Jr.
"We have a decent size pool. But, it fills up fast with family and friends. I can take a little bit of the end of the pool and swim to my hearts content. And not interfere with the Volley Ball game."
